Today we remember those who have sacrificed everything so that we could be free. 

But HOW will you remember?

Choose to make time to read at least one story of someone in our Armed Forces who laid his or her life down for us and pray for their families. However, would it not honor these heroes even more if you make one life change today in remembrance of what they have done?

Years ago, I had the privilege of spending some significant time counseling a young Navy seal who had seen horrible things. He had personally witnessed the death of many of his friends. As he worked through that pain, God was also working in him!  One day he asked to kneel in prayer with me. He looked at me and said “I want to be a warrior for Jesus for the rest of my life.”

Make a warrior choice today!

• I will fight for my marriage. 

• I will fight the battle against any addictions in the power of the Spirit.

• I will wage war against the Prince of darkness by sharing my faith today.

Whatever your warrior choice is today, do it in remembrance of those who have died that we might be free.

And even more important, do it in remembrance of our Warrior King who died to save us all from the dominion of darkness!

“For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
